Comparing the economic crisis to your neighbor's house that's on fire because they always forget to turn off their stove. "First you put the fire out before it spreads to your house, then you deal with these folks who left the stove on."

29. It was an excellent analogy that
helped me to understand it better.

The whole speech was one of his best ever, I think. And, it's full of interesting analogies and, yes, soundbites!
