Chickens coming home...?

<snip>

The New York Times conservative columnist Bill Kristol argued in his column on Monday that McCain must "liberate his running mate from the former Bush aides brought in to handle her -- aides who seem to have succeeded in importing to the Palin campaign the trademark defensive crouch of the Bush White House.

"McCain picked Sarah Palin in part because she's a talented politician and communicator. He needs to free her to use her political talents and to communicate in her own voice," Kristol wrote.

One McCain source said Palin's husband, Todd Palin, was frustrated with how the campaign was preparing his wife for the debate, but did not elaborate. Another McCain aide, however, dismissed those reports.

But a McCain adviser said the conservatives worried that the campaign was squeezing the charm out of Palin were missing the point.

The adviser said preparing her for the debate was "really hard" because the Alaska governor was learning about issues she had never dealt with before -- including those regarding North Korea and other hot spots around the globe.

First I can't believe the McCant News Network wrote this, and second, OMG they are imploding - "preparing her for the debate was 'really hard'"? :rofl:

First Dude doesn't want the trophy to study? She just "appears" and they all fall down on their knees in praise? :rofl:

Yet they still keep rallying around the empty beehive topped suit. It boggles the mind.

1. I am puzzled why you are criticizing CNN for reporting what was published by the NYT

Kristol is a FOX contributor and a NYT columnist. His editorial while titled, "McCain can win" basically is very doubtful that he can.

Kristol's big plan for victory? Just let Palin walk around gabbing and McCain should return and talk about Rev Wright. It was the second part of the column that was the really idiotic part.

4. I wouldn't get too comfortable in the Governor's mansion, dude
Now that Palin has become a national laughingstock, I don't see much future to her political career, even in Alaska.

5. I have never understood that metaphor
Seems to me that if I owned chickens, it would be a GOOD THING if they came home to roost.

How come chickens coming home to roost is a bad thing?
