Possibly Could Have Been Posted... But Does Anyone Else Feel There Might NOT
be a debate on Thursday?? House is back to "work" on Thursday and the distraction may be too much for others to be bothered with. Like McLoonery and his campaign!

I say this because it was mentioned at a debate party I attended last week. Some said McCain did his "save the day" bit for a reason, and some were wondering if he and his campaign may have realized how badly she's done with interviews so far and might "pull" another wabbit stunt.

From what I've seen lately, I've come to realize I haven't begun to see anything yet!! My head is so full of "whatever" I don't know if it's just a headache or my brain exploding! I truly have NEVER seen anything like what is going on, and I'm a Boomer who was around during Viet Nam, so a lot has come down the pike since then!

Just wondering????

1. neither Palin or Biden is in the House.
so there is no plausible reason why it would be canceled.

3. McCain isn't going to try that again.
Which is too bad considering last week's charade was intent on postponing the VP debate not the Presidential debate. If he had just kept his powder dry, he could have actually had a reasonable argument for this week.

But the problem is McCain just can't keep his powder dry. More proof of why he's unfit to lead.

4. Debate Cancelled: Sarah Palin to the rescue in Congress!!!!
oh wait, John already used that lame excuse, and besides, no one in DC even knows who Sarah Palin is.

Nevermind.

6. Would he really pull the same stunt twice?
I think reinforcing the "drama queen" meme, plus the potential of rehashing the embarrassing results of the last "postpone the debate" ploy, would deter McCain from trying again.

Then again, who knows. If we fall into a second Great Depression, like run on the banks style, on Wednesday or Thursday, I suppose it's more likely. But I still see debates on Thursday.

7. IT has to happen
any postponement would appear to be a stunt. I don't think even the masters of spin could redeem McCain for that.

I want to see the debate. I want to see what new material Palin gives Tina Fey.

10. Some Were Hoping It Would Actually Happen Because It Would
give the election to Obama, but Palin has been so awful I wonder which path would be worse for them.

I'd say I feel sorry for her, but she jumped into the pan so fast. I don't think she really understood what she was getting into. I've even thought all the interviews were "hoaxes" and she would shine like a new penny at the debate. But as I said, my brain is in overload these days and all I do is WONDER!

I say don't let the guard down because I don't TRUST anything they do.

9. I do - they would only need a plausible excuse...
like, uh, well... Making up excuses isn't my job - McCoot has people who do that hundreds of times a day.
