2. Text here from OP:
Most CBC members bailout bill

While President Bush and Sen. McCain -- not to mention House leaders -- couldn't reel in the House Republicans needed to pass the bailout, a key constituency over which Barack Obama has considerable sway also opposed the bill.

More members of the Congressional Black Caucus, whose heavily black districts include many of Obama's most ardent supporters, opposed the bill than supported it.

Few of these members are in, or will ever have, tough re-elections.

Obama, it seems, could have helped deliver some of these votes if he had been more invested in the bill.

ME: Obama was going to let them figure it out and he did. Can it be fixed? Will it be? Yes, and yes. But there weren't only black people who opposed it, so I say this is baloney. Why pick on the CBC and Obama?
I get it and it's cheezy of Martin.

3. He also excused McCain for not looking at Obama by saying Senators almost never
look at each other when they talk in the Senate and that it wasn't a gaffe when McCain said Pakistan was a failed state since they DID have a failed govt., and there's really not much a difference. :eyes:

4. Also, I started a thread about Martin Friday with the subject:
"Jonathan Martin from Politico said McCain will look like a winner if there's a deal before MONDAY!"

5. Well, it looks like Black People think for themselves!
How about that? That shoots the "Blacks vote for Blacks because they are Black" bullshit they were pushing just this weekend, hey? Shocking, isn't it? :wow:
