What a way to finish out the shit-tastic Bush years, huh?
We're watching my husband's 401K tank, we're watching my 401K tank, our daughter's college money is in treasury bonds and I have no idea what those are doing and I'm too scared to look, husband was the last salesman hired at his new company and now we're both scared about that, two of my banks have gone under/been bought out in the last week and I don't know what the hell is going on with that.

The Bush years? They were just GREAT. Yeah, you BETCHA.

I saw a sign in a neighbor's yard that read, "NOW have you had enough? Vote Democratic."

It seems to be a more timely sign than they probably ever thought it would be.

Thanks Bush and Cronies, you fucking douchebags. Thanks for fucking everything up. Assholes.

4. Maybe the silver lining will be no more Republican control for at least 40 years.
That might be long enough for people to forget this mess, though we'll (or in my case, my child will) still be paying for the Bush-Cheney-McCain crimes.

5. 1. 9/11, 2. Iraq, 3. Katrina, 4. The Economic Crisis
Any one of these would doom a President to a terrible legacy. But all 4 happened under Bush's watch.

we will dig out of this, certainly hope so but my god I can't believe Bush actually got elected twice. I really think things would be different today if he hadn't but that is past. We still have Obama to look forward to but dam, he will have his work cut out for him with what he is inheriting.

I wonder if Bush can actually go any lower in the polls or if they have just stopped reporting.

Like your cat's shirt.

Now its the ecomomy. Sigh. That bastard can't move out fast enough for me. I'll go down to DC and move him out for free. Hopefully Obama will be moving in.
