Otherwise, it had better stay on schedule or the McCain campaign needs to be called out on keeping an unqualified candidate from being found out.

The McCain campaign would LOVE for people to forget all about the VP debate. They'd love to have everyone overlook how unqualified Sarah Palin really is. If they can do that, they might be able to keep McCain in the race, such that it is.

But as long as the VP gets to ascend to the Presidency, Americans need to know who that person is and what they're about.
