I need to make my federal tax payments via credit because they can sometimes be in big disbursements ( I don't always have $10K+ laying around).

If Obama and the gang want to keep me afloat, rather than giving me a means to borrow, how about they forget I owe them taxes this year? ;)

1. I second that idea
Same here, I own a small business and don't use credit except for federal taxes.

2. A company that has to always borrow to meet payroll
is on pretty shaky footing already. A small manufacturer I worked many years for has every damn family member on the payroll in one capacity or another and still made payroll out of their operating fund.

3. Exactly. That's what I think every time they mention that.

4. When clients stop paying, or pay late, and vendors want paid...
or vendors stop extending credit (ie-net 30 days) and cash upfront is required, you'll see lots of small businesses go belly up.
