Never forget this day. This is what we will be telling our grandchildren
This is a day that an entire party, (the republicans) took a Hoover jump into the ocean, dragging the American economy, with it.

This is the day, that the United States lost its standing in the world economically.

Send the message out, and write it down in your computers, because we are living in a moment in history

1. Hoover jump is right. Live and die by the markets.
So much for socialism being the evil. All along it was laize faire capitalism.

4. Oh, the drama of it all! Good grief, get ahold of yourselves.
We'll get through this, and we MAY even get a better bill----one that doesn't make Paulson god, and let them cover up all of the crimes (ok, who am I kidding--of course they will cover up the crimes).

11. Yeah, and?
The market goes up, it goes down. It will go back up. Geez I can think of some things I would tell grandchildren about, had I been there. A 700 point drop in the market isn't one of them.

10. It's a big deal because the factors driving that drop still haven't been fixed.
It'll keep dropping tomorrow. It'll keep dropping until Congress comes up with a workable security blanket for Wall Street.
