7. They created this mess. They created the myth that we have to rush through THIS bill immediately,
and then they killed the bill.

I'm not cheering the market crash or anything like that and I have nothing but sympathy for everyone who is going to be hurt by this economic crisis (which is going to continue regardless of this bill), but I think it's pretty clear that this was the best possible outcome for Democrats. Not a great outcome, but the best we could have hoped for out of this shitty situation.
