The Stock Market Is Crashing
Wow. This looks bad. But then again, I know nothing about economics. I just see the numbers falling. And they're falling hard and fast right now.

that.
i thought retirement money were saved by the FDIC?.
and if you them in your 401K, i thought your money was also protected.. What is the difference?
I am no economist either but this is really confusing and i don't have any retirement money saved or 401K

12. I'm in the same situation as you. It all came to pass on George Hoover Bush's watch
Not much solace, but I think the coming recovery will be a whole lot better led by a Democrat.

10. It was bound to crash with our without hyper-inflation of the dollar.
It's not the middle class America's fault that Wall Street squandered their money.

16. Wholeheartedly agreed.
It sickens me to realize every once in a while that progressives can be utter morons too.

7. Oh, no it's not. It's just correcting.
We're not even going to trip the first breaker. This is mild.

...and it's a necessary step for the market's long-term health. The market WILL rebound, and it'll be a healthy rebound, not an artificial one.

15. Yes, it's correcting and Barney Frank wants to assess
the market reaction to the bill not passing to decide what the next step will be. Smart move. Also being reported by NYT - a second attempt s being made to pass the bill.

14. No, it's not.
5%, 10% is not a crash, and we're not even at 5%. In 1987, we lost a quarter.
