5. I heard on the news that he became "sleepy." He's 62 and they hinted that
he just couldn't take the pace of these all nighters and constant work.

I want to say something snarky here, but I won't...

6. Dyspneic

Not breathing or able to breathe except with difficulty; "breathless at thought of what I had done"; "breathless from running"; "followed the match with breathless interest".

That could be really bad! If he dies who would give away the money?

7. Might have been a result of hyperventilation.
dyspnea is serious and indicates a disease process in the lungs, but I haven't heard that he has COPD or anything like that.

I hope he's okay.

16. It could have been a sort of panic attack due to stress--that happens
a lot, to men as well as women--and would explain why he wasn't hospitalized.

Here's a blurb from WaPo:
Treasury Confirms Paulson Woozy Spell

At the final, critical meeting in negotiations on the $700 billion Wall Street bailout -- the last round of talks began at 10:40 p.m. Saturday and ended around 12:25 a.m. this morning - Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson was so short of breath that lawmakers called the Capitol physician because they were so concerned.

Like he's under tremendous stress. Always wide-eyed and jittery. I do hope he's okay though.

20. Panic attack
yes, that's my guess. Could be the first one he's ever experienced. Stress a big factor. He has a LOT to be stressed about.

El Pretzeldent doesn't look too well either. I watched his speech this am. He looked a bit of a wreck. Full bed head. Probably the first sleepless night in his life.

They just need to hear, "EVERYTHING'S gonna...be...O....K......!!!!!" (Preferably crooned sweetly by Doris Day or Nancy Reagan)

But what's really being whispered in their ear is, "Suffer, you evil bastards..."
