With the stock market in shambles and the housing market cratering, there is one sure bet out there:

AN OBAMA PRESIDENCY!!!!

Give till it hurts people. I know times are tough for many of us, but just remember what got us here; 8 years of complete failure by republicans. We can't afford to lose this one. The economy can't afford it, our environment can't afford it, our children's future can't afford it, our health care system can't afford it, our security can't afford it, our reputation in the world can't afford it, etc.

So when you think you can't give anything, find one thing to give up for a week or a month. Turn your cable off, quit smoking, forgo sweets, ride your bike whenever possible. Do anything you can to scrape together an extra $10, $20, $100 and make the best investment of your life. If you still can't find afford it, then donate your time. Volunteering is as valuable if not more valuable than money.
