A spokesman for the Bureau of Statistics in Australia
just announced that if the American Presidential election was held here Obama would win hands down in an absolute landslide.

1. In an honest and transparent election, he will probably win in
a landslide here too. But, we don't think our elections are that honest anymore.

2. Just about every sane country in the world would elect Obama unanimously tomorrow.
Here in America, though, people are having a really tough time deciding between a dynamic, intelligent, passionate, and capable candidate and a decrepit, deceitful, mentally-ill one, who is inextricably tied to failed war and economic mismanagement. For some reason, choosing one of these guys over the other is a real brainteaser.

9. Bingo.
When you strip away everything else, that's what it keeps coming back to. If Obama was white, they wouldn't even need to hold an election. He would be carried into the White House on the shoulders of the nation. As it is, he could part the waters of Lake Michigan and turn the Hudson River into a Chardonnay and people would say "not bad...for a black guy."

3. Yep, I watch the Australian version of Big Brother....
... you know the TV show .... and the Aussie Big Brother contestants were talking about Barack way back in June (because they were cut off from the press, they weren't even aware that he'd won the primaries.) But one of them said, "if the Americans dont elect him they're crazy .... I will have no respect for them."

I realize we shouldn't choose our candidate SOLEY for how it will make us look to the rest of the world, but I wish more people would see that as yet ANOTHER reason why Barack is the FAR supeior choice.

4. can you remember which contestant
because their aren't many intelligent ones amongst them. The lady who ended up winning would have been a Sarah Palin supporter because she was a closet redneck. I watched the series too and I suspect the person who liked Obama may have been Rory.

6. lol, no wasn't Rory.......
... I'd be surprised if Rory even knew who Obama was.

It was Terrence .......... and he was talking to Ben I think. Although I will conceed Rory might have been around.

I am SO gonna miss that show. I would love to know what Paul and Merlin (BB4) have to say about Barack.

7. I remember both of them well
Paul was a real lefty and he enjoyed pressing Merlin's buttons. Knowing what I know now about Merlin, I'm sure both he and Paul would be 100% behind Obama. It would have been interesting to see who they would have chosen in the Primaries.

I enjoyed watching the show also. It surprised me how little that age group knew about politics. Maybe, these days materialism rules.
