I cant imagine they are nearly as excited about her now and since they don't like McCain seems this could be somewhat of a lopsided vote with the Dems being energized beyond belief.

1. No, they still love her...and are wondering why McCain doesn't "unleash" the pitbull
The cognitive dissonance of the republican base is strong.

3. No but if this continues
it may suppress the more moderate and fiscal Republicans that would never vote for Obama.

4. Don't be so logical
the Republican base admires dumbness, to them it's a favorable trait.

6. It's not the 'base' she has a problem with
It's the moderates and independents they were trying to win over.

7. What do you mean?
What everyone else doesn't like about her, the base loves...her religion and the fact that she is mailable, a puppet is what they want...The "base" is now fundies and neocons, not Republicans...

9. the only concern we have at this point is her appeal with independents and undecideds. F THE FUNDIES
fundies are gonna vote for mccain in droves. they won't be quite as rabid this time round, but you can set your watch to the fact that they're gonna vote in big numbers for mccain/palin. idiocy, never a fundie criteria for candidacy, has never deterred them in the past.

palin's problem is that independents and undecideds think that she is a moron. and lots of them will decide that somebody like her cannot be trusted with the nuclear codes or to run our economy.

it's a real problem for her, and a joy for us!

KEEP PALIN ON THE TICKET!!!!
