Stop it people!

If anyone needs to be worried about Thursday - it's McCain supporters -

NOT US!

1. Was the "articulate" remark in a debate?
That was the only major gaffe of his during the primaries, IMHO. And Obama disarmed that one fast.

2. Nope - that was the first day of Biden's campaign - but it was in a debate that Obama
defended Biden's comment.

7. Biden was saying the proverbial 'they' think Obama is 'articulate and clean.'
NOT that he, Biden, thought that.

I understood exactly what he meant, and he was right. It was not a gaffe, it was just spun that way.

4. Biden made a few mistakes in the debates
Edited on Sat Sep-27-08 05:55 PM by TheDonkey
I love Biden. Have been a fan of his for years but Biden has still got to REALLY take this debate seriously. I know a lot of the MSM and DU are ready to see Palin go down in flames but Biden needs to be sharp and cannot let his guard down.

The one mistake Biden made off the top of my head was when he talked about Obama and him getting an HIV test. It wasn't a disaster but it was awkward and clumsy but Obama bailed him out by turning it into a joke.

8. What was wrong with that?
The question was about stopping the spread of aids, and Biden talked about getting tested, and said both he and Obama have been tested. Another example of fake hysteria.

And Biden is taking this seriously. He said it last night on CNN when asked, saying that he expects Palin to be a great debator.

17. the MSM would have used it to make fun of him
that is why it is a gaffe. I'm not saying what he said was WRONG. During those debates Biden also had very little time to actually talk. Even with the lack of time many talking heads usually called him one of the winners.

5. THANK YOU.
It's just getting ridiculous! If these people who are 'concerned' don't have the stomach for this, then get off the fucking internet, and walk away from the TV until after Obama is declared the WINNER.

10. OH we will!!! I'm just disgusted with some of the people on this board
who THINK Biden will fuck up. It really pisses me off, and I think it's some of the people who never paid attention to Biden, but support him because he's on the ticket. They need to start paying more attention to what his MESSAGE IS, and not so much to his trumped up alleged gaffes.

12. I get disgusted when DUers fall for RW talking points.
It's ridiculous to be a sheep so close to an election.

14. It is RW talking points....just helping them do the dirty work...
I just think they all need to shut the fuck up. The fact thay THEY are even mentioning it on a PUBLIC MESSAGE BOARD, to me, is a gaffe on their part!

6. Biden arguably won the debates...
Give or take, some won by Clinton, some by Dodd, etc. but overall I think Biden won more than his fair share of those debates. And he delivered the two best moments of the debates by nailing Rudy ("noun, verb, and 9/11") and his response to Brian Williams about whether he could control his proneness to gaffes ("yes").

16. Yes! Saw that on you tube. Biden was very good in the primary debates.
Don't worry, people are just nervous because everyone wants to win this election so badly. I had stomach pains last night before Obama went on and then I heard his nice calm voice and felt much better. Joe will do good.

15. Biden debates every week on the Senate floor
Edited on Sat Sep-27-08 06:26 PM by aint_no_life_nowhere
For years his life has revolved around standing up and expressing his opinion on the issues in front of his peers, calling up facts and skillfully developing his argument. He's miles and miles beyond someone like Palin in public speaking. He's a pro. Palin isn't even playing Pony league.
