Just finished canvassing my mostly independents neighborhood
Talked with about 20 people. 18 previously undecided now strongly Obama supporters now with absolute hope for this country. Excited supporters. Relieved supporters. One independent lady told me the deciding factor for her was Obama's calm attitude which made her believe things could turn out all right and McCain's meanspiritness toward Obama. She felt she was looking at the president already in Obama.

What a great day canvassing. I wish I could have gone on all day.

2. Today they were saying that Obama seems more knowledgable on issues at home and abroad
they hadn't realised that before because they were told (by the MSM) that he was inexperienced. They also thought that McCain was somehow trying to punish the poor!
