Advantage Obama, as polls reflect, but how to stop punditocracy from robbing Obama of his victory?
I have elsewhere* talked about how, although Obama won the debate fair and square (and then some), there were numerous opportunities to seriously deck McCain, which cumulatively, might have all-but-clinched the GE, but my question here is: What can we DUers (including a revived DU-Corps) do to prevent the punditocracy (and I don't just mean the overt RWers) from robbing Obama of his solid (if not knockout) victory?

<* egs of where McCain Fucked Up and Obama could have decked him: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=7216554&mesg_id=7216866>

I think that we should all remember 2000, when the polls within the first 24 hours showed a Gore victory, but the press had a collective feeding frenzy about the eyeball rolling. They tried to palm off the first Kerry/Bush debate as a tie or a Bush win, until public reaction was overwhelming, including in polls.

Folks can take a look at RealClearPolitics.com, and see a massive "solid wall of bullshit" of all kinds of columnists, including mainstream, uniting to deny Obama his victory

1. Most Pu ndits I have heared call it a "draw" a nd because it was
a draw it favors Obama. Obama proved he could go toe to toe with McCain.

2. The point is that the POLLS show, and rarely by a small margin, an Obama victory
the consensus of pundits is almost ALWAYS more favorable to the Repuke/RW candidate than the polls of these debates -- to the maximum extent that the grassroots/astroturfroots/netroots let them get away with it
