Has anyone checked to see if Alaska under Palin had trade missions to Russia?
Palin slipped that little phrase in her interview with Couric when asked about her foreign policy experience.

I thought Palin didn't get a passport until 2007.

Has she ever conducted any trade missions with Russia? Or, for any country? Is this another one of her lies she was hoping to slip in hoping nobody catches it?

If exposed as a lie, she should get hammered for being the compulsive liar she's shown herself as being.

2. actually I have a friend whom I email sometimes......
..yesterday I was telling her about Palin's comment about how Alaska has a trade policy with Russia.

She did some researching and discovered that the last trade Alaska had with Russia was in 1997!!!!

4. That just backed my suspicion that she just threw the line out hoping it sounded impressive
and hoping nobody calls her bluff.

7. If there were trading between Alaska and Russia...
...then Russia would also be trading with other states. Obviously (to most people) trading has nothing to do with close proximity.
For example, stores in all 50 states have products from Mexico...not just those states bordering Mexico. Same with Canada or any other country.

8. But Palin was trying to make a point that she's dealt with Russia in some capacity as governor.
