Three great lines from the Obama/Biden speech in Greensboro NC today -
About the debate last night:

"for 90 minutes, John McCain had a lot to say about me, but nothing to say about you" (meaning the middle class, the voting public).

"John McCain keeps stealing my lines - Turn the page? Come on, John - pretty soon I'm going to have say that I am a maverick"

"For 8 years, Bush has dug the country into a deep hole, with John McCain carrying the shovel"

Clearly last night's debate has Obama and Biden really revved up!

3. I loved how he also said
Edited on Sat Sep-27-08 01:49 PM by ErinBerin84
that McCain talked about bear DNa , but not the middle class or working people. And he said "That's an old line he's been using since the campaign started, he needs a new one."

4. Obama needs to remind everyone
that McClueless voted for that bill, and that he voted against Vets multiple times.
Time to throw that jerk under his own bus! Having said that, I think Obams rocked last night. Hope Obama will use some of these one-liners in the next debate. They're great! K&R

6. I agree, I could use some jabbing on McCain for his veteran voting record
Did you see Joe Biden on tv last night? He said "I do have to correct something though," after talking about how great Obama did, and went on to talk about McCain's voting record for veterans. Maybe he'll talk to Obama about getting him on it next time...though, McCain would probably just say "poppycock!" and lie about it, but still.

8. Do you know if the speech is available to watch on YouTube yet?
I totally missed it and would love to see the whole thing. I have a hangover and some Obama/Biden would get me feeling better!
