Now I have no problem if someone wants to use their own money and bet the odds; however, McCain has demonstrated that he is willing to use his senate position and his campaign as a vehicle to fuel his addiction to making impulsive risky decisions.
From the last minute selection of Sarah Palin, to the sudden suspension of his campaign, to his risky decision to help author the immigration bill, McCain has shown that he has no qualms about tossing the dice and hoping they land in his favor. Up until now, the most he had to lose was his senate job or a presidential campaign; however were he to win his presidential bid America would become his dice and the world his craps table.
We would face the possibility that a bad impulse decision could lead us to another war, or compound our already horrible financial situation. If Bush was a "Cowboy" presidency, McCain would surley be a "Gambler" presedency.
