Iraq will never be free as long they are occupied by a hostile foreign power-the USA. Apparently the right wing thinks any Iraqi who took up arms and tried to defend their homeland from foreign invaders are terrorists- and McCain would have us stay in Iraq until 'we win'.
I have talked with numerous right wingers who really believe that the Iraqis who shoot back when US troops shoot at their families do so because they 'hate freedom'.

A few questions-

(1)- Seeing how the reasons for the war keep changing, as one reason after another has been discredited- how do we win when there is no consistent objective? Now the only reason Mccain can offer to stay in Iraq is so we can 'win'. What the fuck does he think this is, a baseball game?

(2)- Is it my imagination, or does McCain more or less admit we win when Iraq becomes a complaint pro- America puppet state?

(3)Where is the so called 'liberal mainstream media'- why aren't demanding to know why we are at war still- when the reasons given, the threat of WMD,the connection with 9/11 has been discredited? It's almost as if the reaction to the fact there were no WMD is treated as a minor footnote. And the justification of ousting Saddam as a reason for the war is interesting, given the fact that the US propped him up and backed him, until he refused to be a US stooge anymore. He was a murderous tyrant, but he was created by the US.

The US is the aggressor in this war- Iraq did not attack us on 9/11, and I don't blame the Iraqis one bit for taking up arms to defend their home and families from the American agression.

McCain's reducing this campaign of killing into a game of 'winning' is sickening. People are dying over there, and for what????
