Small Town Indiana Obama Sign Picture Here!
This is in a red Rush Limbaugh county of around 50,000; around 10,000 eligible voters; surrounded by rural area. I've had so many requests for signs I can't count and can't satisfy; I have 2 requests for HUGE signs with on the outskirts of town along the highway and one for the main drag. Help! I don't know what I can do. I wouldn't even have a truck to deliver or the manpower to hoist a big one up. I want to try and make these for them, though. If worse comes to worse, we will start painting some signs. We have a decent group in our little town. Canvassing is good with more support for Obama than the other!!! One of my volunteers passed out 9 bumperstickers to people in a McDonald's at midnight lastnight. The people were so thankful and begging for more! Can you believe it!? My little 'ole Republican town?? GOBAMA!

2. it is beautiful.
Can't you hear the bell ring when the door is opened? the time worn wooden floor in front of where a display case stood? Look at that Indiana limestone foundation...I grew up in a town w/ buildings like that.

8. I found out it was one of our young volunteer's dad's buildings!
Looked like they were refurbishing it.

3. Are you seeing McCain signs as well?
I'm seeing a huge number of Obama signs out these days too. What I am NOT seeing, however, is too many McCain/Palin signs.

I live over here in Illinois where Obama is in fine shape, but I was in Indiana in June and I was struck by the complete absence of GOP signs for that Presidential Primary. I did see a couple of Ron Paul signs in the right of ways, but I don't remember seeing GOP signs for anything larger than a local race. It was so striking that Kevsand and I both commented on it.

I think Indiana is gonna shock a LOT of people this year.

7. There are a few here and there. I'd say there are more Obama but
we're having a sign shortage and there would be a lot more if we could get some.

As a general rule, we haven't ever seen many presidential signs during a presidential ever. So there are more than there have ever been on both sides.

10. I have In-laws in Kokomo and Marion
I grew up in Ft. Wayne, so, I know how HUGE this is. Especially in your area given it's history. That's awesome!

12. the campaign can't help?
I don't think they're high on yard signs, but... a direct request, I would think, would get answered...?

14. Beautiful slice of Americana
I would absolutely love to have a building like that as a home/small business store front. It's an absolutely stunning piece of 19th century Americana, all the way down to the date on the roof.

15. I love this building. It's right out of a Rockwell painting...
and the fact that it's sporting an Obama sign makes it that much more beautiful to look at!
