1. Wow...it has the same margin as...
...the "notoriously liberal-biased" dKos/R2000 poll.

2. Agreed, I like to use the Ras poll as a reality check in case there is a Bradley effect.
It seems to be consistently 2-3 pts below most of the other polls.

5. I do not believe in a Bradley effect
Because I don't see many people say they will vote Obama and then vote McCain in secret.

There is no "shame" in saying that one would vote for McCain.

Plus there are up to 18% undecided who are not saying they will vote for Obama and then vote McCain.

No Bradley effect for me, it's just a talking point.

7. If the RAS poll is automated, then there would be no Bradley Effect.
Edited on Sat Sep-27-08 11:35 AM by elkston
Bradley Effect only comes into play when voters must state their preference to a live person. Doing it on a computer, or to an automated voice provides the privacy they need to express their true desires.

If RAS is automated, then the numbers should be accurate with little or no Bradley Effect.

3. Most of the samples were BEFORE the debate so
I really think it would actually be HIGHER after McGrumpdog's GrumpFest!

6. And this was before the debates! Wow!
I think we could have a double digit lead in Rasmussen by Tuesday! :bounce:
