Dear Lord...the right wing has started sending Pro-Cindy emails...
It was hard not to hurl when I saw this email...silly me, when I saw the subject line: "A Real First Lady...Interesting"...I thought, wow...an email on Michelle Obama!!! Cha right...

(There were photos of her in the email too...but I'm not wasting space w/that...unless you guys really wanna see them...)

And since I'm on the subject of Cindy...I'd like to mention her appearance with her husband on The View...where she talked about returning from Georgia (the one in Europe, not the US) where she spoke of the innocent women and children who were being traumatized by the intrusion by Russia...and the only thing that came to my mind was.."and what makes the innocent Georgian women and children any different from the innocent IRAQI women and children"....

**********************

"Bet you would have never guessed this one! No matter your politics. The media will never tell of this, so pass it on.

Cindy McCain

There was an article in the Wall Street Journal on Cindy McCain, John's wife. All I ever saw was this attractive woman standing beside John. I was surprised how talented and involved with world problems she is. This is a summary of the article.

She graduated from Southern Cal and was a special-needs teacher.

After her Dad died she became involved with his beer distributing firm and Is now the chairwoman. Sales have doubled since she has taken over from her father.

They have a marriage prenuptial agreement, her assets remain
separate. She is involved around the world clearing land mines - travels to these countries on a detonation team and service on their board.

They have a 19 year old serving in Iraq , another son in the Naval Academy , a daughter recently graduated from Columbia Univ., an adopted daughter in high school, and a son who is the finance guy at the beer firm.

Raised kids in Phoenix, Az., rather than Washington DC.(better atmosphere) He commuted.

In 1991, Mrs. McCain came across a girl in an orphanage in Bangladesh . Mother Teresa implored Mrs. McCain to take the baby with severe cleft palate. She did so without first telling her husband. The couple adopted the girl who has had a dozen operations to repair her cleft palate and other medical problems.

They have a Family Foundation for children's causes.

She's active with 'Halo Trust' - to clear land mines, provide water and food in war ravaged and developing countries.

She will join an overseas mission of 'Operation Smile', a charity for corrective surgery on children's faces.

She has had two back surgeries and became addicted to pain killers. She talks openly about it which she says is part of the recovery process.

I'm surprised the media is so quiet about her attributes. She sounds more capable than Hillary or Obama. We would really get two for the price of one. A person with business and international experience. John did work for the firm for awhile when he left the Navy.. She, however, has the real business experience. Very interesting.

John McCain's Sons

Apparently this was not 'newsworthy' enough for the media to comment about. Can the other presidential candidate truthfully come close to this? ...
Just a question for each of us to seek an answer to.

You see...character is what's shown when the public is not looking. There were no cameras or press invited to what you are about to read about, and the story comes from one person in New Hampshire .

One evening last July, Senator John McCain of Arizona arrived at the New Hampshire home of Erin Flanagan for sandwiches, chocolate-chip cookies and a heartfelt talk about Iraq . They had met at a presidential debate, when she asked the candidates what they would do to bring home American soldiers - - soldiers like her brother, who had been killed in action a few months earlier.

Mr. McCain did not bring cameras or press. Instead, he brought his youngest son, James McCain, 19, then a private first class in the Marine Corps about to leave for Iraq . Father and son sat down to hear more about Ms. Flanagan's brother Michael Cleary, a 24-year-old Army First Lieutenant killed by an ambush from a roadside bomb.

No one mentioned the obvious: In just days, Jimmy McCain could face similar perils. 'I can't imagine what it must have been like for them as they were coming to meet with a family that ......' Ms. Flanagan recalled, choking up. 'We lost a dear one,' she finished.

Mr McCain, now the Republican nominee, has staked his candidacy on the promise that American troops can bring stability t o Iraq . What he almost never says is that one of them is his own son, who spent seven months patrolling Anbar Province and learned of his father's New Hampshire victory in January while he was digging a stuck military vehicle out of the mud.

Two of Jimmy's three older brothers went into the military. Doug McCain, 48, w as a Navy pilot. Jack McCain, 21, is to graduate from the Naval Academy next year, raising the chances that his father, if elected, could become the first president since Dwight D. Eisenhower with a son at war.

I chose to share this with those who I believe will pass it on, to others who will pass it on. We hear so much trash out there. How about a simple act of kindness ... and dedication to others placed above oneself?

Has anybody heard if Barack Hussein Obama ever served in The American Armed Services? Reading his book he wrote in 1995 where he states he is basically muslem, is so scary, we canʼt even go there! Then there is his wife who is an advocate for black supremacy, need we say more?......

4. I am an Obama supporter, but your email was well written (actually, I thought it was an Obama fan
who had written it --- and no, we are NOT elitists.)

What I want to ask you is why you think being a Muslim is so bad? What data do you have to support that? And I will not accept a generalized "Muslims hate America"...........because 99.999% of the world's Muslims are good, family-raising, praying people.

So I ask you again..........what makes you think that being a Muslim is bad? And I am not asking this because you think Obama is a Muslim (which he is not).. Where is the proof? How about if he had said he were a Buddhist? Or an agnostic?

If you are frightened of a Harvard-educated, supremely articulate and confident black woman, I think it may be because YOU HAVE NEVER MET ONE BEFORE, black or white.

You need to control this outrageously ridiculous fear of black people. We live in the 21st century, pal. The majority of people living on this planet (in case you didn't know) ARE NOT WHITE.

I already knew all about Cindy McCain, and her accomplishments, which made me (a woman) even more angry at McCain dissing her and calling her "a trollop" and "a cunt". Do you find THAT acceptable? Is Sarah Palin more your type of woman? A pretty, empty minded, rough-edged, lesser-educated piece of ass? I am sure you cream in your pants every time she opens her mouth -- yes, pun intended -- (or is that also over your head?)

It is time we do not choose our Commander in Chief by the color of his or her skin , or by his/her middle name (if it had been Grover you would also be ridiculing it, although we DID have a President named Grover. Remember him?) My advice to you is this: I don't know how old you are or where you live, by PLEASE, for the sake of this country, try to do the following in the future:

** educate yourself
** practice tolerance of others (the world IS getting smaller you know, but it is STILL larger than your brain)
** EDUCATE YOURSELF!!!!!!!! If you can't afford to go to school, READ, THINK FOR YOURSELF, just don't spew nonsensical garbage from your UNEDUCATED mouth.

I could go on, but am getting carpal tunnel..............know what THAT is?
