Doh! About the "Horseshit": I'm not sure about this fascination for it.

on this and how this helps Barack Obama. Plus, I watched the video, and didn't get anything out of it that said that McCain was saying this. Now, it is true that McCain acted like some horseshit....but that's how close I seem to get.

I think that what should be going viral is Obama eviscerating McCain on Iraq decision.

This horseshit is a distraction, that should not get any air time. Doh.

1. I have it TiVO'd, McCrypt did NOT say horseshit
He said of course 2x, he was mocking Obama. McCrypt's mockery and dismissiveness should be the main harping point.

2. Thank you! I think McCrypt being a petty man
should be the focus.

7. Whatever McCain said, it wasn't "of course"
It may have been "Course {something}", but it was just two syllables and the first rhymed with 'horse.'

3. It shows that he is disrespectful and hot tempered.
It'll only make him look mean.

YouTube is a great hungry maw. A single clip like this won't sate it's quickly bored palate. The entirety of this -- and the other debates -- will be sliced and diced into many choice servings to chew on.

5. Actually, I find it reminiscent of Dick Cheney saying the F word on the Senate floor

6. If it were more clear, I would disagree with you.
But it's questionable as to whether McCain actually said "horses**t", so the value of pushing it is negligible or even negative (as it may inoculate some future indiscretion).

However, were it to be clear, it would be a valuable issue to push, as part of a larger temperament narrative -- demonstrating that McRage doesn't have the temperament to be representing the country, the diplomatic skills to help restore our tattered alliances. It's unpresidential.

8. Focus Focus Focus
As I said earlier on another thread... STOP focusing on these insipid, irrelevant, unproven "facts". Honestly, it is counterproductive and it doesn't address the main issues! I am telling you, if you don't focus on the main goal (getting rid of the Republicans), this will be 2004 all over again. Issues, they should be the subject of the threads, not this childish nonsense!

10. Thanks
Been lurking for a while. Very interested in what will happen in november. If McCrap wins, your country will be the butt of the joke, I tell you.

12. I thought we've been the butt of a joke for the past 8 years.
It's embarrassing having Bush as our *resident.

16. Yeah, but I still can't get over 2004
I am very afraid for this election. One thing is certain, Repugs are very powerful and not as stupid as they look (their base is stupid, which makes them powerful, go figure)

These Landslide talks are "deja vu" all over again. I lurked around here in 2004 and you people were so confident (I was to). But IMO, too much time was spent on calling Bush a chimp.

One thing is for sure, If Ia was able to do anything, I would be helping the Obama campain in any way I could. I would not be in front of my PC.

11. Ummm.... which appears to be the point of the OP.

p.s. A campaign and/or its supporters should be capable of attacking on multiple fronts; and if you think "issues" are the only way to bring down an opponent, and character issues are irrelevant, then you haven't been paying attention for the last 3 decades. *IF* McCain's enunciation were more clear, this soundbite alone could hit McCain's campaign hard enough to win the election for Obama, building on the "temperament" narrative.
