Forgive me if this has already been mentioned.

But I noticed that a couple times during the debate, the moderator left McSame on a winning note and wouldn't let Obama follow up, but yet he allowed McSame extra time several times.

Was it just my imagination??

1. McCain was allowed to interrupt, as per the usual rightwing style of "debate"

2. I'm not sure about that...
It seemed to me that McCain was simply more aggressive...

It was frustrating!

3. No. I thought so too.
It was making me a little nervous, but
Obama seemed to handle it well.

8. Yes, Obama handled it well. But .....
even after Obama was shut out from further discussion, McCain was allowed to jump in and continue anyway.

5. Lehrer seemed to have no control over the debate.
In previous debates there were colored lights that signaled when they were coming to the end of their time. I think they should do that again.

6. I was very very very angry and frustrated about that.
It was ridiculous how much time he was given. Obama tried to cut in and he couldn't. And I wish I was there to throw a shoe at Jim Lehrer.

10. McSame's constant monotone voice disturbs me. Kind of like he is a robot.
Does that remind you of someone else?

11. Obama backed off and always let McSmall dig himself a grave.
Big grave. Big casket.

12. No, I don't think so.
I think that Obama got plenty of time.

But that's just my opinion.

14. Obama needs a sign that says "Lie" on it
That he can hold up every time McCain says something patently untrue.

He wouldn't have to butt in, he could just roll his eyes and hold up the sign.

I was joking about this, but I think it would actually work if Al Franken did it while debating Norm Coleman.

15. Yup, I noticed it, too. It was very marked in the first part of the debate--
the part I heard on the radio. Very bad hosting by Jim Lehrer. He kept letting McDrone drone on and on. I thought I would scream. I turned it off. Heard about a third of it. Also, he kept letting McBush interrupt Obama, so he could hardly get a full sentence out. And Obama was not in good form in the part of the debate I heard. He of course blew McFly away--with intellect, fresh ideas and perspective--when he could get two words in edgewise. But I thought it was very unbalanced, as to the moderator, who should have curtailed McMouth.

16. ....no....
I never thought McNutty would shut up.

I mentioned on another post that Barack behaved like a true executive. When McNutty would blow up, Barack would just say, "I agree with you John," toward the latter part of the debate. What Barack did in those moments, and I would think about later was to show John McCain for the child he was, and Barack standing as the adult in the crowd.

Barack's toughest challenge was to pass the foreign policy threshold, and IMHO, he did. The remainder of the debates should land us in solid position.

17. MSNBC gave him more screen time, as well.
Whenever Obama had the floor, McStiltskin was squeezed in on the screen via the splitscreen more often, than in the opposite circumstance.
