2. Ah, but combine independents with Democrats
Edited on Sat Sep-27-08 12:22 AM by blogslut
Considering that Democratic voter registration is way above repub registration, we are going to KICK. THEIR. ASSES.

3. On Iraq, indies agree more with Obama that it was a mistake in the first place
instead of McCain's "We're winning/the surge is working". America regrets the whole thing and wants to get out ASAP, not keep surging.

4. Who are these people?
"independents" are so aggravating. They should be called attention whores instead.

6. I'm an Independent. However, I'm leftist/marxist variety & supported Obama back in March.
It's not all Independents. I know a few HRC supporters who became "independents" of sorts because they didn't know who they would vote for since they were die hard HRC supporters.

7. one of my best friends is an independent...
...former Republican. She is fiscally very conservative, but on social issues, very liberal. She's virulently anti-Bush and anti-McCain, even worked for the Kerry campaign and will without a doubt vote for Obama. Hates McCain's nastiness and snideness. She's very strongly a pacifist, which drives much of her hatred for Bush and McCain. She'll probably never be a Democrat - I have to bite my tongue a lot when she goes on a Dem-bash rant, which is only slightly less violent than a Republican-bashing rant :) - but she's voting a straight Dem ticket once again. She's only one of millions of independents, of course, but I think that might describe a vast majority of them in a nutshell.

5. Government Spending---Obama did need to explain that more.
For the economic plan I don't get how we scored so low yet, we scored higher for the bail out. Weird.
