Debate Poll... Insider Advantage, Obama 42/McCain 41

Remember McCain needed a decisive win tonight. He clearly didn't get it.

1. It's all good
Oh, and Obama will learn from tonight and this was the supposedly strong foreign policy debate for McCain.

Good night overall.

2. MSM trying to spin it as a tie. Obama won by a good margin. McTroll came across as
unpresidential.

3. That's what my wife & I concluded--Obama won, so the press called it a tie.

4. People underestimate the visuals
SurveyUSA has 2 polls out.

In California the poll is a big Obama win. He dominates every poll question.

In Washington it is 40-38 for McCain. McCain has an edge in most of the issue questions. In the "Who looked more presidential?' question Obama had a wide margin.

6. Look at the cross-tabs in the Washington Poll...

the survey is 53% men and 47% women. That's why McCain was ahead in Washington. If they had corrected the model to a more realistic 52w-48m... Obama would have won.
