1. McTroll has his good days...
And he has his bad days. Today, standing for a whole hour and a half, was a good day.

2. WOW! We're screwed--notice how Obama constantly depends on a walker and oxygen tank?
The election's as good as lost. :(

5. I must say that I was impressed
at how he stayed on target and didn't really have any "senior moments". There was one, about half way through where he started to fumble.

Of course, if he really is in the early stages of Alzheimer's, or some form of dementia, he'd only going to intermittently be out of it. I did wonder, what kind of medication he might have taken earlier to keep him so focused. Granted, he still repeated his usual talking points, and rarely said anything of substance, but then this was the foreign policy debate, which was supposed to be his strong suit.

9. I don't think he has any sort of dementia
He was solid on all of his material. I think all of McCain's earlier gaffes were just that: gaffes. If McCain is declining in any way, it's in his temper that led him to not even look Obama in the face once. But that could easily be aggravated by the severe stress he must be under.

Obama still won, of course.

13. Definitely no dementia tonight.
But there are other times, and the interview with Spanish radio recently sounds to me like classic early dementia. Here's a link, if you haven't had a chance to listen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7LsPpaaIs8

He obviously cannot tell the difference between Spain and Mexico.

meetings.

10. I am wondering what they injected McCain with. Horse steroids? Speed?
Should we start drug testing presidential candidates? Maybe they just gave him a big dose of solumedrol to cut down on brain swelling.
