Unlike Romney, Obama Did Not Let McCain Being A Prick Get To Him
McCain clearly rattled Romney by treating him with disdain. In contrast, I think Obama treating McCain with respect while calling him wrong to his face actually pissed off McCain more than if Obama ripped into him and disagreed with everything. McCain was looking for a fight in the mud, and Obama did not bite, while Romney lost his cool, and started lashing out at McCain. With Obama, the reverse appeared to happen. Now, I am sure we all know people who are sarcastic, and seem to enjoy putting other people on edge. That's McCain, and McCain must have been furious that Obama was not taking the bait like Romney did.

2. I think you're absolutely right-- if he was baiting Obama, it sure
didn't work. "Imperturbable" would be a good word.

3. I forgot about that debate with Mittens. He really got to old Mitt.
Obama is too cool for that crap.

4. I am going to be honest: I have never been an Obama fan.
I voted for Kucinich in the CT primaries long after it made any difference. I disagree with many of Obama's policy positions, especially on the bailout; but he has completely won me over with his demeanor. I now believe that he is thoughtful and intelligent enough that I can trust him to make the right decisions for all of us.

I have gone from being a lukewarm Obama supporter to being a hard-core Obama supporter. I believe that the rest of the country is making a similar shift.
