i frequent a collegiate SPORTS board of...the most conservative public university in the country
(read my user name and guess who i'm talking about)

ANYWAY...

they are either very curtly 'supportive' of McCain: "oh...he won. shut up." (just an example)

or grudgingly admitting Obama scored more points and 'barely' won

if you have figured out the school...this is a VERY positive sign for "the good guys" :)

1. Bevo?
As in Texas? LMFAO. UT is liberal as can be. The school I went to, Texas Tech, on the other hand literally is one of the most conservative public schools in the country.

7. No offense, but I assumed you were a UT person as well. Now I think you must
be an Aggie...but then why the name Bevoette? Just curious!
:)

10. why dont you just tell us?
there's about 299 million people in this country who have no idea/care about the political leanings of texas tech.

11. ok, well...that wasn't really the point...the point was, it was a 'neutral' topic board...
of a very, very conservative majority...and they are begrudgingly admitted an Obama tie at least, if not a draw

just trying to share positive news :)

8. Aha! Yeah, you got me there.
My cousin came back brainwashed from that place. I went there for the TSPS Land Surveying course and got the hell out of there as soon as I got my certificate!

14. No offense...
but I don't view A&M as UT's rival anymore. I view OU as their rival. Speaking of conservative schools, that's another doozie of a right wing school.

And a bad case of it. Why not Giggette? ;-)

But back to your post. This is VERY excellent news. I live in one of the reddest counties is SE Texas whence come many Aggies, and there is an obvious lack of support. Most shrub stickers are gone and have not been replaced with McCain stickers. Our county Dem party has grown by leaps and bounds. Thanks for the post.

5. I guess you missed all the Keep Austin Weird stickers
because there's not much that's conservative about UT or Austin. Come to suburban Dallas and I'll show you conservative...

Here's to hoping Texas is actually in play for Obama this cycle.
