How many times did McCain bring up Reagan?
Seemed like his fall back line. McCain always looking backwards. Eisenhower, Reagan, who else?

11. It was a HORRIBLE time for working people
Banks and savings and loans failed. Black Monday in 1987. Housing crashed. Jobs began to be earnestly shipped overseas. Reagan's pick Alan Watt did his best to remove protections for the environment. We invaded a sovereign nation. Wait. Are we seeing a repiglican pattern here?

4. I wish I would have had Reagan on my bingo card
He is using the Giuliani model for grammar: noun, verb, Reagan instead of noun, verb, 9/11

He's probably tired of being used and abused and misused..... Not that I cared for him at all, but he was wayyyyy more likeable than McCain.

7. Wasn't that sickening?
If I'd been at that debate, I'd have said, "20th century thinking won't work in the 21st century." Fucking Reagan...I'd piss on his grave, if given a chance.

10. My co worker was watching with me and asked why he mentioned
Reagan so much. Said it's a Republican thing. They have to mention him every five minutes or they lose their membership card.
