Jesus christ, Biden v Palin is going to be a bloodbath.
If Palin can't even make make post-debate comments....

Biden should probably leave 7/8 of his brain back home to give her a chance.

3. I predict the debate will be cancelled or she will be off the ticket. I can't imagine the
GOP allowing that debate to go on, even with the changes they made to it.

7. If they let it go on, she should sue the party for abuse.
She's going to be publicly humiliated at a level nobody deserves to endure.

I don't feel bad for her, but they're putting her right in front of a semi truck running the speed limit.

25. I said in another thread
that I do not see Palin being there Thursday, and if she is, not on the ticket Friday. Romney will replace her.

Biden is going to destroy her...And I`m not a big Biden fan.

36. Lots of fundies WON'T vote for Mitt, he's Mormon
A lot of them don't consider Mormons real Christians.

Sure, they won't vote Obama, but they'll just stay home or vote for Barr or some other wingnut.

42. Right. No way they let her off the leash against a real public servant like Biden.
It would be like like putting in Stallone (an actor) in the ring against George Foreman ( a boxing veteran and champ).

How did Palin become Governor of Alaska? She is not a bright person.

43. I think there are a number of cities that have bigger populations than Alaska as a whole
I'm not saying I could govern Alaska but it sounds like you're dealing more with land than people as far as proportion of the state which may make it an easier go for someone like Palin.

22. Is Palin as bad as that nut Ross Perot picked as a running mate?
Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 10:37 PM by The Craw
Remember the senile old admiral that Ross Perot picked as a running mate? There wa sa hilarious sketch on SNL where Dana Carvy, playing Ross, tried to ditch the admiral on the side of the road, but he ran after the car...
I wonder if palin is as bad a vp pick as Ross's pick..

40. Admiral Stockdale!
She's a lot more photogenic, but is less knowledgeable and a LOT less experienced.

I'd have to say that, due to the superficiality of the populace, she's not as much a drag on the ticket as he was.

44. Biden needs to be VERY careful not to show contempt towards Palin like McCain did to Obama
The fact is it's easier to scream "sexism" when someone shows contempt towards a woman, it's harder to do so when someone shows so much contempt to a black man. There's just a lot more women to appeal to with the sexism charge then the racism charge would.

That's the only way Biden can probably lose the debate, well that and him saying something really stupid since he's known for gaffes, but the contempt thing is the more deadly thing I think.
