Tie on the substance, Obama on delivery
I think McCain sounded good if you believe in the stuff coming out of his mouth. It's always hard to judge republicans since republican leaning voters don't care about truth or facts. They only care if the candidate stayed on message. McCain seemed to be on what ever message he had.

Now on delivery, wow. He grimaced at every time Obama hit him on a mistake. You knew when Obama was right on a subject just by watching McCain. Worse he constantly insulted Obama throughout the debate. He even took pride in not having a good personality. If you want a angry president that can't talk with world leaders because he is simply unstatesmen like McCain was selling himself to you. How many voters out there are there? Obama simply looked more statesmen like.
