My friend showed me his voter registration card!
Edited on Thu Sep-02-04 02:53 AM by fujiyama
I've been bugging him for days...and at first he put up a fuss about voting...You know, my vote doesn't matter, it's meaningless, nothing will change...

Well, I think he was doing that just to annoy me and drive nuts because I know he doesn't like Bush and I don't think he voted at all last time. Another good thing is I know he's not a Nader supporter because a Nader petition guy asked us for signatures and we both refused. I'm sure he'll vote for Kerry. He understands what's at stake. Today he showed it to me and said "will you now get off my back".

I doubt I will. I'll be calling him the day before election day making sure he gets his ass to the polls!

2. In MI
we mail in the registration form (or go to the secretary of state and take care of it) and we recieve a little card in the mail which tells you where to go vote.

3. Here you get your
sample ballot and that tells you you're polling place. It seems like they should have some kind of national standard but then I guess it would be harder to disenfranchise people.
