1. I *almost* felt sorry for him when he said that.

2. Ah - thanks for reminding me of that.

That was actually demented, in an alztheimers sort of way. He knew he had to get the line out again, and there was the pen, and suddenly the brand new sharpie was old 'just like me', and then he was standing there staring at his old familiar pen, the one he has had since he was a little boy, his good old pen - and then he looked up blankly, and then *SNAP* he was back with us.

That was actually pretty scary.

His RIGHT hand... Isn't he right-handed?
Well, that quill he had in his right hand was very old. It should be in a museum!
