We must not have been watching the same debate. I saw him as condescending, temperamental and intentionally unspecific.

townhall speech, did not want to debate, and had nothing new to contribute.

The best thing Obama accomplished tonight was appearing measured, calm, and concise...McCain just came across as testy and unstable. He needed to legitimize his "experience" claim by showing a vast divide between his and Obama's experience. Obama artfully deflected every single attempt and McCain was quick to unhinge when he was unable to own what was supposed to be his subject matter expertise.
