MSNBC nailed the first ad from McCain
Obama saying "John is right" over and over again.

Expect to see it tomorrow morning if not later tonight.

1. That's the only thing I wish Obama hadn't done. He gave up unnecessary points there.
Of course, I'm sure in the back of his mind he didn't want to come off as the "Angry Black Man" in the first Presidential debate of this election year.

4. You can avoid being angry without agreeing with your opponent non-stop
I'm very sad, because I know Obama can do better.

2. Wasn't that one of the things that hurt Gore? (plus the sighing etc)

3. I'd say McCain was the Gore of the debate in that respect
McCain acted condenscending and Obama was overly complimentary.

I think it was pretty even for the most part. I give the advantage to McCain because I think everyone was expecting a mess and he held it together. On the other hand, Obama proved that he can handle foreign affair situations.

I want Obama to win but I think it was a wash.
