Barack cant keep letting McFuck get away with insulting him w/his "Obama doesnt seem to understand"
bullshit. At some point, Obama is going to have to put a stop to this obvious Rovian ploy that McCain is using and confront him about it, face to face.

8. The corporate media spin is incredibly effective. They will say McCain dominated.
Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 09:41 PM by ryanmuegge
The public is so stupid that they will believe it.

Hopefully I'm wrong.

I'm just hoping this Pakistan story about them firing on us stays under tight wraps so the public doesn't get sidetracked by these phony smokescreen foreign policy "issues."

14. He was snarky and condescending, people don't like that..
he kept saying Senator Obama doesn't understand, and then Obama would prove that he does in fact understand. It got old after about the 20th time, way old.

5. It's not going over well with the public, apparently on CNN everytime McCain says that his
rating goes down with the people doing the focus group.

10. Yes, but he's gotta put a stop to McCain's feeble repetitive insult because
the more McCain gets away with saying it, the more that it could stick, even though it's complete baloney.

21. I thought that made McCain look like a fool
because every time he said that, Obama came back and proved to McCain that he did understand. When you pull that tired statement out more than once, the audience knows it's in lieu of a real answer. It shows weakness in McCain's debating style. A debater doesn't tell his opponent he doesn't know something. Instead, he proves that his opponent doesn't know it.

23. I think it made McCain look petty at times.
Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 10:28 PM by WIllo
There were times, it was clear to anyone, that Obama knew what he was talking about.

McCain would still come back with "Obama doesn't seem to understand."

I'm sure some people thought "yes, he does" and "maybe McCain doesn't really understand".

The tactic was clear but I think he overused it.

Also, this is a line Guiliani uses often. I'm sure he shared it with McCain today.
