What's Gramps trying to pull off here? The "Elder Statesman" schooling the "Young Whippersnapper"?

3. Unfortunately for McDoucheBag...
It makes him come off as an asshole -- especially when he keeps making so many mistakes.

4. He's repeated that so many times
The problem is, Obama is giving every indication that he does understand - and in fact, he seems to understand a fair bit more than McCain does. The "he doesn't understand" line is coming across as condescending.

6. And importantly, Obama is calling him on it.
Like the strategy and tactics thing, Obama replied that he understands the difference very well.

16. Obama is defending his position very well. He says it too much, and
McExcuses' line is growing old and people are catching on to his verbal manipulation.

One could die of alcohol poisoning.

13. Obama needs to forcefully say that he DOES understand
because in the heads of a certain number of voters, if he doesn't, McCain comes out on top.

This "again, Sen Obama doesn't understand" shit is pissing me off.

15. Damn. I picked the wrong catch phrase for tonight's drinking game
I was all set to drink every time he said "My friends". But I'm still sober.

If I had chosen "What Senator Obama doesn't seem to understand..." I would be schnockered by now.

18. Unfortunately, that's actually a good move on McCain's part.
There are a number of people who are reluctant to vote for Obama because "he doesn't have experience." And by McCain continually repeating that Obama "doesn't understand," it feeds into that belief.

19. Yep, he's said that about 4 times that I remember
I guess that's McCain's strategy. Obama is holding his own very well. Especially by going after the commander-in-chief angle. IMHO, that's what we should have done in 2000 and 2004.
