I'm feeling better and better, even gettin' giddy!
Edited on Fri Sep-26-08 02:49 PM by Bragi
I had very dark thoughts in recent weeks, when the polls became real tight. I was starting to truly panic when Mccain started to lead after the Palin nomination.

I am now feeling much, much better and better now, almost giddy, to the point that even the meltdown of my investment portfolio seems tolerable.

For this relief, I would like to personally thank John McCain, Sarah Palin, David Letterman, Katie Couric, Rachael and Keith, Stewart and Colbert, and everyone who made this great week possible.

And it isn't even over yet. We now get to see the man who may well become become one of America's best-ever Presidents debate his moronic opponent.

Yee Haw!!~!!

So yeah, let's not get in any way over-confident. But damn, I'm feeling good!

3. If things hold up as they should...
... then giddy isn't even close to what I'll feel come Nov. 5.

If I may borrow a term, I'll be rapturous at that point.

Anyway, I'm just wanting to enjoy the moment right now.

It's not like our side has had a lot of such moments in recent times.
