What did the networks show? ZELL or CHENEY? How was Darth Cheney?

I watched neither so I honestly don't know what most of the nation saw...

Zell is a loon...what about Cheney's speech? Don't see many reviews here.

1. Boring and negative. Same old same old, delivered with so little

oomph that it was amazingly dull...!

If his crooked maw was not so fascinatingly bizarre to stare at, it would have been practically unwatchable.

I was expecting to get all riled up and mad at him, but i couldn't even work up a froth!

2. A pathetic, greedy old man.

Except for the planned applause(tepid) and the scripted "flip'flop" chants, it was basically a Kerry hatefest. He was right about one thing, though, this election is the most import in history. He's gonna be in big trouble if he loses the reins of power.

3. Nah, he's singlehandedly taken halliburton out of near bankruptcy and

restored the high $$$$$$$ of his options----options he was NOT forced to give up, although they were and are a conflict of interest!

I wonder what "independent" voters reactions will be...I hope it's the same as those here!
