Ed Schultz: McCain Camp insiders say Palin "clueless"
Breaking News from Big Eddie:

McCain Camp insiders say Palin "clueless"

Capitol Hill sources are telling me that senior McCain people
are more than concerned about Palin. The campaign has held
a mock debate and a mock press conference; both are being described as "disastrous." One senior McCain aide was quoted as saying, "What are we going to do?" The McCain people want to move this first debate to some later, undetermined date, possibly never. People on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is "clueless."

4. Shouldn't that tell them something about MCCAIN?
It really doesn't reflect very well on his judgement, to put it mildly.

5. MSNBC interviewed a former campaign advisor from McNuts
campaign in 2000 yesterday, and he said McNuts nature is to spontaneously decide something, burst into the room, tell his advisors when he's going to do and "You figure out how to make it work!" I thinhk that's what happened with Palin. He was pissed that they wouldn't let him pick Leiberman so he displayed his anger by picking someone out of the radar field and told everybody to "Make it work!"

6. I dont like her, but Im starting to feel sorry for her
She wasnt ready for national politics, the McCain camp should not have asked her to be VP.

Now she is the butt of jokes through no fault but McCain's.

8. Why feel sorry for her? She should have known she wasn't competent
Shoot - I know I'm not competent to serve in that high an office - shouldn't she have known?

Oh, that's right, after she accepted the nomination, that's when they told her what the job was.

McCain should have known.

11. The Bush Syndrome
Incompetent people don't know they are incompetent. They think they need more power.

Bush got all the power he asked for but is still incompetent.

Restrain first. Pity at leisure.

41. Oh, yeah. Some freeper was defending her performance on the interview
by saying that since she is used to being in charge and in control, she doesn't come off well when she is being interviewed. Poor little freep. It's just going to get worse for him from here on out.

I have no sympathy for Reich wingnuts like Palin. They've been allowed to get away with their fascism far too long. It's long past time they crash and burn.

13. I don't feel sorry for her.
I think she's a grade A jerk, she likes to kill animals, she seems as if she's a terrible mother, and she seems like the kind of person who was a Mean Girl in high school. Why should I feel sorry for someone like that? Would she have been nice to any of us in high school? I doubt it.

Best thing for her would be to get knocked down a few pegs.

After being such a raving bitch at the convention, I'm enjoying watching her drown and will do anything in my power to push her head under. Not the most pleasant side to my personality, I admit but there it is.

7. That latest interview stunned me too. Thought Sitcom Sarah would be better at the ad libbing.
Most right wing liars can be taught to just slip in the standard catch phrases to different categories of questions, to seem like they're responding when they aren't really.

But Sitcom Sarah sucked at it. At one point she slipped about six keywords into an answer without any kind of thread to tack them together. Just dished out some vocab.

I am glad she turned out to be so much dumber than I thought. Harder for the right to keep up the illusion of any competence.

22. "Thought Sitcom Sarah would be better at the ad libbing."
or at least bullshitting. When I saw that YouTube video with her on the microphone at her church, with that scary, gravelly, Cryptkeeper voice straight out of The Exorcist ("Maaake a waaaaay, Lord! Make a waaaaaaay!") I thought for sure that if she had enough bullshit in her to keep that freakshow going, she might have enough in her to perform for a larger audience.

Thank Whatever-You-Thank she doesn't. I couldn't take four years of either her "hockey-mom" voice or that Beelzebub voice. That was just way too (no puns and all puns) goddam freaky.

"McCain showed up without Sarah Palin, which is a shame because she actually has a lot of banking and financial experience. She lived right next to a bank. ... Sarah Palin was in New York at the U.N. to meet world leaders. Previously, her world experience has been limited to visiting the Epcot Center in Orlando."
