3. I'm hoping it will be like Nixon in 1962 for McCain.
You know, "you won't have Nixon to kick around anymore".

Totally bitter and angry. With a touch of insane.

7. Agree
Getting drunk with friends is much more fun than doing it alone.

9. Awe, how bout' instead go out roller or ice skating with family and friends? ...
If there's snow on the ground, make snow angels... we'll all be "high on life" if we are blessed to have Obama/Biden lead our beloved Executive Branch ...

Or

Just get drunk :P .... ALL OF THE ABOVE? :hi:

13. I will already be drunk
I will need either drugs or booze to get through the evening. I seriously don't know how I will bear the suspense as the closing of polls is announced at the top of each hour and each state's projected winner is determined.

I still remember exactly where I was driving in 2000 when I heard on the radio that Gore had won Florida. Timmy R had told us that whoever won Florida would win it all, so I cried and thanked God.

Hey God, you owe me one.

6. He'll do a concession and probably breath a sigh of relief.

He's not a hard working guy...maybe he's realizing he can't bullshit and POW his way through the presidency the way he has the senate. Palin will happily go back to Alaska and work on negotiations on the Palin family reality show. The show will be a huge hit. After all, they were made for reality TV. Tourism in Alaska will skyrocket, we'll all go up to see Denali and the "I can see Russia" tour, buy a Sarah bobblehead at the gift shop. The few months of Palin will become like one of those experiences that is a nightmare while it's happening, but you laugh about it for years to come.

8. I'm just glad I visited Alaska this summer before all the Palin insanity started.
I have a feeling you're right about seeing Palin trinkets everywhere. Even if they are making fun of her, I just don't want to see her face.

11. I think she has definitely...
...taken "visit Alaska" off everyones bucket list!! But, who knows. I will be so deliriously happy WHEN Obama wins. I'll be grateful to McCain for having chosen such an inept VP. I'll be grateful to Palin for not knowing how truly inept and unqualified she is and accepting. It all contributes to a win.

10. I honestly think McCain will cry voter fraud no matter what happens.
I don't think he's going to concede this. It can be an Obama blowout and McDrama will concoct some fantasy about the election being rigged.

12. I don't think so.

One thing I've realized is that he has the biggest EGO in all of congress. He'll want to make one of those heartfelt, sob inducing speeches that starts in Viet Nam and carries us into how he ran a great race. He'll want to hang on to the respect and admiration he's gotten all these years.

Although I never liked him, I was glad he won the nom because I did believe he was a straight forward ethical person and I thought we would, for once in my lifetime, have a really clean and fair race. Boy, was I wrong!! John McCain is all about John McCain. The only thing he'll care about is how HE comes out of this, not his party.

He'll put Palin on a bus with a one-way ticket back to Alaska.
