Call me cynical, but I won't watch the debate.
No matter what is said, the McCain supporters will claim he won, the Obama supporters will claim he won. The remaining 10% will decide not on what is debated, but who looks best, who sighed the most, who has the best "there you go again" catchphrase, who's tie they liked the best. I'll catch the endless analysis afterwards, which I am sure will focus more on personality than substance.

1. You can't win if you don't play.
McCain will be asleep in DC at 7:00 tonight.

I'm a cynic too, but the truth is that the man has got MOVES. I'm looking forward to the debate.

This is history in the making and Obama is the better man and debater by a football field.

Missing it is not an option.

5. Watch the debates, simply turn off the pundits. Don't need them to form an opinion.

6. You're right and they will claim he won even if he isn't there. It will be brilliant
and the media will enable it.

8. In Ohio the tide is turning.
There is evidence that brains over skin color is becoming popular. I am out on the street and I see it. The more * and Gramps open their mouths the better it is for us! Palin is the icing on the cake. Peace, KIm

11. I have my TIVO set.
This is going to be historic. A candidate not showing for a debate? When has that ever happened?

not unlike NASCAR - just waiting for a crash
