I'm serious here. She obviously doesn't know the first thing about foreign policy. We're talking extreme basics here that she has no clue about.

Don't even start talking about the basics of national economic policy. She couldn't even muster an average grade in macroeconomics during her six years of college.

So how can we expect her to underst,d very nuanced specifics of her own party's system for nominating and putting forth candidates for the vice-presidency.

Nope. There's no way she knows that the only way she is off the ticket would be for her to resign.

And that, my friends (:evilgrin:), is the rteason why Sarah Palin will NEVER be removed from the ticket.

But I just don't see it happening. He's better off with the base if he leaves her there; pulling her now would upset their feeble little minds. Even Huckabee couldn't save him now.

3. Palin's the only reason McCain is still in the race

There's no way they can cut her loose without basically conceding the election.

At that point, Obama would literally need to channel Linda Blair in The Exorcist in order to throw the election back to McCain.

Beside, even with her incompetence Palin still comes off as impressive to her "base" which really says a lot about them in the end as well.
