...I think I'm going to snap. Not in the 'get a gun and shoot up the shopping mall' kinda snap. I think my brain will just disconnect and I'll become a drooling vegetable (it's like becoming a Republican, but with less shitting yourself).

McCain has shown the most crazy, knee jerk, spastic, confoundingly stupid reasoning I have ever seen in my life. He's a proved liar. He picked the LEAST qualified person ever to be his vice presidental running mate. To think that people could see these two men and choose McCain over BARACK OBAMA seems laughable. It's just scary dangerous and vile. My God. If this crazy f*ck actually WINS this November... I think I will just shut off like a cheap light bulb.

1. If Obama loses this election, I will be getting the first of many civil disobedience violations.
I will make Cindy Sheehan look like fucking Laura Bush. I will make Code Pink look like a quilting circle.

11. Oh believe me, I will be rounding up the troops on this one.
I'm not taking ANY loss lying down. This country is going down the tubes and I'm going to fight for it and they will know who the hell I am.

20. I love you!
I was thinking the same thing. I suspect like myself, you would not harm anyone, but yes, civil disobedience is definitely on the table. However, if Obama wins, I suggest anyone living in a Red or Swing state take those Obama stickers off your car.

22. People need to rise up and fight back against these fuckers.
If the traditional channels of voting won't do it, then we make a LOT of noise and refuse to be complacent. We will not allow ourselves to be the victims of fascists. I love this country too damn much to lose it at the hands of these craven lunatics.

33. I don't think I fully realized how fucking screwed we were then,
though I'd had an instinctual feeling of horror and repulsion seeing the shrub campaign. I can't tell you why, because I knew nothing about him and being Independent, did not feel predisposed to dislike the republican candidate.

So. If we finally win, how do you think you'll feel? Do you believe we might win?

It's terrible, isn't it? It feels as though it may be too late.

23. Think about the millions of Obama supporters. The grassroots people.
That's more than 2 million people alone. We're talking about a massive movement of people. It would be one of the most dramatic things we've ever witnessed.

25. I told my friend today, that IF that happened, I would DROP
anything I was doing and GO to DC. I don't care about anything else right now. We are in a life and death match, and I intend to fight back. Seriously, I think McCain would get us all killed. He's not going to be diplomatic to other countries, because he's a fucking maverick....he's a loose cannon.

16. But this isn't about John McCain beating Barack Obama.
This is about there being enough assholes out there who would vote for John McCain to make it even VAGUELY close enough for them to steal. Really, there is no reason a man like Obama shouldn't be up by 80% on that crazy bastard.

10. There's always the Timothy Leary suggestion...
'Turn on, Tune in and Drop Out.' I'll either move to Alaska (the irony--however, someone here on DU suggested we do so and then defect, enmasse, LOL). I have considered suicide. Since the war started. To think of us killing Iraq and her people was too much to bear. My dad and brother offed themselves. But I couldn't do it. What a chickenshit. I have a daughter, a dog, and a family who loves me. Kinda sucks. This is why Obama MUST win. He WILL WIN.

21. I will know for 100% certainty that our elections
are not legit. I've always known there are shenanigans, but I've put any conspiracies of wholescale huge thefts to the back of my mind. In this one we have the biggest dipshit to ever run who ran the worst campaign ever against a fantastic candidate AND a fantastic leader--if it ends up being the douchebag who hardly campaigned, I'll KNOW something is very very wrong with our elections.

And btw, I have a friend who just said to me today that she's afraid of what some of her friends will do if Obama loses. We're talking some seriously explosive anger. It's actually started to worry me.

..... this election is Barack Obama and our's to lose.

It would require a MAJOR screw up on his part and MAJOR lack of work on ours.

Get out there and knock on some doors!

31. The craziest people in the world are those who think
we can just give it another shot in 2012. We have to hold the line NOW. We cannot depend on any future, we must carve out our own.

Our chances diminish with each cycle and we're about out of time. It may already be too late, even now but at least there's a slim hope.
