Obama's first words at tomorrow's "town hall meeting" in Mississippi should be...

"Fellow Americans.... Wall Street today voted on John McCain's political gamesmanship the past few days. The 1000-point drop in the Dow today rests solely at the feet of John McCain. Your 401Ks collectively lost trillions of dollars in value today because John McCain decided that his campaign was more important than the economic health of this country. It's regrettable that he is not here tonight to face you directly. Frankly, I wouldn't want to be facing you right now if I was him either.

I know you're all worried tonight. But I want you to know. Joe Biden and I, with the help of Democratic majorities in both houses, will fix it if we're blessed enough to get enough of your votes. It won't be easy, but we'll fix it.

I'll now take questions from the people, if Jim Lehrer doesn't mind."

(Standing ovation)

Lehrer: "No... go right ahead."

1. I like it IF the Dow drops 1000 pts tomorrow....
Of course, if the Dow drops 1000 pts tomorrow you should expect Bush to address the nation at exactly the same time the Debate was to be telecast, and Bush would blame Dems for not passing the bailout plan since they have the majority in both houses of Congress, and Bush would shine McCain up for the audience saying McCain tried to save us but the evil Dems prevented him from succeeding.

If wall street takes a tumble tomorrow, the Republicans have no choice but to take the blame, period.

ANd I never said anyone would take lame duck Bush seriously. I just pointed out a scenario that is likely to play out.

3. I dare McNUGGET to give Obama an exclusive 90 minutes of air time watched by millions.
It is hilarious that he boxed himself into the corner on this.

What a dumbass to think he could ever be President Dumbass.
