...but Jesus Christ on a crutch, to hurl yourself into the inner-workings of a nationwide crisis just for political gain? To float the idea of postponing your first debate with your opponent, as well as that of your running mate, by claiming that "a major problem is at hand?" To shield your Vice President from nearly all media outsiders?

This is fast becoming both spectacularly grotesque and grotesquely spectacular. Obama must be having flashbacks to his race against Alan Keyes...
