I almost hope that McCain continues to not go to dodge the debate on Friday. With Obama and the Presidential Debate Committee agreeing that the debate will continue, Obama could have a chance to give a two hour dissertation on the economy. If McCain does come, now he looks like a weak, blustering fool.

Now that I'm out of work and have time to listen to CNN and MSNBC, this whole "Lets not debate because things are too tough" shenanigans is going to go over beautifully....if your name is Barack Obama. John McCain could not have picked a more hamfisted, ineffective, narrative killer than this "move". I expect even more movement to Obama by the time we get fresh tracking numbers on monday.

1. Hey Wolsh...
...good to see you.

I hear ya. I'm so giddy, I can barely stand it.

I haven't been this elated since the primary began.

McCain lit a hand grenade, but it appears that it blew up all over his campaign.

I'm delightfully mystified. Did McCain even entertain the notion that these theatrics
would backfire? And how would that look when the debate wasn't canceled and he had
to attend anyway?

OMGosh...McCain will be completely unhinged at the debate. There aren't enough tranquilizers
in the world to take the edges off of this failed debacle.

2. It was like he took a hand grenade and then shoved it down his pants
Months ago, I was wary that maybe McCain was smarter politically then I was giving him credit for. As time marched on, I began to think he was an old, jumpy reactionary led by an idiot (Schmidt). Now, I'm sure thats the case.

Good to hear from you as well btw. :)
